What is R-Programming?

R is an Open Sourced powerful programming language and also known as an Advanced Statistical language which was developed in 1993 by Robert Gentleman and Ross Ihaka in the University of Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand. R is cross-plateform compatible, so it can be installed on Windows, MAC OSX and Linux.
